The 1960s were a decade of experimentation, fun, freedom and energy. Whether cruising on a motorcycle or picking up speed in a sports car, life was lived at full throttle. Willy Breitling sensed this shift in tempo and set out to design an unconventional chronograph that would capture the excitement of the era. He called it TOP TIME. That tradition continues today, as Breitling partners with some of the greatest names in the automotive world to create its Top Time designs. In the early 1960s, Le Mans winner Carroll Shelby introduced a car that combined a small, lightweight British-style chassis with a powerful, reliable big American engine. When it launched in 1962, the Cobra achieved instant success, both among sports car enthusiasts and on the racetrack. It remains remarkably fast and highly prized by collectors to this day. The Top Time B01 Shelby Cobra features the colours and emblem of its classic car counterpart, as well as a perforated leather racing strap, a tachymeter scale for measuring speed, and contrasting „squircle“  sub-dials that lend it a vintage feel.
