Buttons and modes
The manual labels the buttons with the letters A, B and C. The watch has four modes: Timekeeping (showing the time), Alarm, Stopwatch and Time Setting.
- B changes the modes in this order: Timekeeping, Alarm, Stopwatch, Time Setting and back to Timekeeping. After an operation in any mode, B returns to the Timekeeping Mode.
- A changes values and starts or stops functions depending on the mode.
- C illuminates the display in every mode. During setting, C selects which field flashes.
If you do not press a button for one or two minutes in the Alarm Mode or Time Setting Mode, the watch returns to the Timekeeping Mode on its own.
The day of the week is shown with two letters: SU Sunday, MO Monday, TU Tuesday, WE Wednesday, TH Thursday, FR Friday, SA Saturday.
How to set the time and date
- Press B until you enter the Time Setting Mode. The seconds digits start to flash.
- Use C to select the field to set in this order: seconds, hour, minutes, day of the week, date, month.
- While the seconds are flashing, press A to reset them to zero. If the seconds are between 30 and 59, the minutes increase by one. If they are between 00 and 29, the minutes do not change.
- For every other field, A increases the value. For the day of the week, A moves to the next day. Hold A for fast change.
- Finally, press B to return to the Timekeeping Mode.
The calendar is automatic, with February set to 28 days. In the Timekeeping Mode, button A switches between 12-hour and 24-hour format. In 12-hour format the PM indicator is shown from noon to 23:59. In the morning there is no indicator. In 24-hour format the hours run from 0:00 to 23:59 and a 24H indicator is shown.
Alarm and hourly time signal
The daily alarm sounds for 20 seconds at the set time every day. The hourly time signal makes a short sound on every full hour. All operations are done in the Alarm Mode, which you enter with B.
- In the Alarm Mode, press C. The hour digits flash and the alarm turns on automatically.
- Use C to change the field in this order: hour, minutes, normal Alarm Mode without flashing digits.
- Use A to increase the selected value. Hold A for fast change.
- After setting, press C to return to the normal Alarm Mode.
The alarm format follows the selected time format. In 12-hour format, check whether the hour is morning or afternoon (PM). A sounding alarm is stopped by pressing any button.
In the Alarm Mode, button A changes the status of the two functions in this order: both on, both off, daily alarm only, hourly time signal only. The display has separate indicators for the alarm on and for the hourly time signal. To test the sound, hold A in the Alarm Mode.
Stopwatch
The stopwatch measures up to 59 minutes and 59.99 seconds in 1/100 second units. After reaching the limit it continues from zero until you stop it. Measurement continues even if you exit the mode. If you exit while a split time is frozen on the display, it is cleared and the total measurement returns. All operations are done in the Stopwatch Mode, which you enter with B.
- Elapsed time: A start, A stop, A resume, A stop, C reset.
- Split time: A start, C split (SPL is shown), C split release, A stop, C reset.
- Two finishes: A start, C at the finish of the first (shows their time), A stop at the finish of the second, C shows the time of the second, C reset.
Illumination
The illumination is LED. In every mode, press C to illuminate the display.
