What makes a G-Shock a legend
In 1983, Casio engineer Kikuo Ibe set himself the "triple ten" goal: a watch that survives a 10-metre drop, withstands 10 bar of water pressure, and runs for 10 years on a single battery. The result was the G-Shock — a hollow structure in which the module effectively "floats" inside a protective case. Four decades later, G-Shock is the standard for a rugged watch: shock-resistant and water-resistant (200 m), built to play sport, work, and stay on your wrist without a second thought.
The core series in stock
GA-2100 — the slim octagonal bestseller known as the "CasiOak," along with the more compact GMA S-series. DW-5600 — the square '80s classic, the purest G-Shock shape. G-Steel (GST) and the metal GM/GMW — steel over a shock-resistant core, sporty elegance for everyday wear. G-SQUAD (GBD/GBA) — Bluetooth connection to your phone, step tracking and workout data. Solar GW/GBM — Tough Solar charging with no battery, plus radio time-sync. For the extreme end — the Rangeman GPR with GPS navigation.
How to choose your G-Shock
For a first G-Shock, we most often recommend the GA-2100 (light, slim, goes with everything) or the DW-5600 (the classic). If you wear a suit, go for the G-Steel or Full Metal GMW. For sport and mountains — the G-SQUAD or Mudmaster/Rangeman. Women's and smaller wrists feel great in the GMA S Series. Our prices start at around 92 €, and every model can be bought in interest-free instalments.
